Bonjour Melodie et merci pour votre réponse:) The school I started was a foreign language school for adults, but I’ve also helped many teachers start schools and classes for prek-12th grade. My biggest recommendations for teacherpreneurs trying to budget is to go backwards. 1) determine how much you need to make for a comfortable living 2) see how many students you feel comfortable teaching at a time. Then create the tuition accordingly. When first starting, I highly recommend keeping costs to a minimum. Try to host the school in your home or a place where you don’t have to put down a deposit but where, for example one student enrollment might be equal to the cost of the space. Try not to hire assistants until you have enough students to warrant that. Of course, every situation is different. I’m happy to advise as much as I can on your other questions.
