You are correct. Our education system is completely broken. Teachers know it, schools know it and parents know it too. But we keep trying to change things incrementally instead of building a whole new system. There is a latent movement of techies, teachers, artists, nurses and other innovators trying to reshape our education system starting with their own kids.
